FAQ
About the product
What is NovaQuant?
NovaQuant is a Windows desktop application for monitoring crypto markets. It centers on a chart-first workflow with configurable indicator overlays, an on-chart signal engine, optional alert routing (Discord, Telegram, webhook, desktop), and built-in paper trading. It is a tool — not an exchange, not a broker, and not financial advice.
What platforms does it run on?
Windows only at this time. The app ships as a single NovaQuant.exe; no installer wizard, no system services. macOS / Linux are not currently supported.
What's actually included in the subscription?
The full desktop application: charting workspace, signal engine with on-chart markers, configurable indicator overlays (moving averages, VWAP, Bollinger, Supertrend, RSI / MACD / StochRSI / Volume panels), session lines, optional alert routing across four channels, manual + automatic paper trading, and ongoing updates (delivered as new .exe versions) for as long as your subscription is active.
Is this financial advice? Will it tell me what to buy?
No. NovaQuant is informational software. It shows charts, runs indicators, and displays signals — that's it. We are not registered investment advisers and we don't know your situation. Read the Risk Disclaimer for the full picture.
Do you provide signals, alerts, or a "trading bot"?
NovaQuant has a built-in signal engine that fires on-chart based on the configured indicators and gates, and it can route those signals to optional notification channels. It does not place trades on your behalf on any exchange. There is no auto-execution component.
About the subscription
How much does NovaQuant cost?
$24.99 / month USD, billed monthly through Stripe or PayPal — pick whichever you prefer at checkout. Cancel anytime from your Stripe receipt or PayPal automatic payments dashboard.
Is there a free trial?
Not at the moment. The fastest way to evaluate the product is to read the Why NovaQuant page and the Quick start guide. If you subscribe and it isn't a fit, cancel before the next billing cycle.
How do I cancel?
Three options: (a) Stripe customers — open the self-service portal link in any Stripe receipt email and click Cancel subscription; (b) PayPal customers — open your PayPal automatic payments dashboard and cancel the recurring payment; (c) email novaquantlabs@gmail.com and we'll cancel from our side. Access continues through the end of the current billing cycle. See Refunds & cancellation for the full policy.
Do you offer refunds?
Pro-rated refunds are not provided. Refund of the most recent charge is reviewed case-by-case for things like duplicate billing, billing while you couldn't use the product, or a serious bug that broke core functionality. See the full refund policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe (credit cards and most regional alternatives) and PayPal — pick whichever you prefer at checkout. Stripe and PayPal handle all payment data; we never see your card or account details.
Installation & activation
How do I install NovaQuant?
NovaQuant is delivered manually. Pay with Stripe or PayPal, then email novaquantlabs@gmail.com from the same email address you used at checkout. We verify your payment by hand and email back the NovaQuant.exe download link + install guide — typically within a few hours. There is no public download URL.
How long does it take to receive the download?
We review each payment by hand, usually within a few hours during normal business hours. Overnight or weekend requests can take longer.
Can I move NovaQuant to a different machine?
Yes. Email novaquantlabs@gmail.com from your checkout address and we'll help you get set up on the new machine.
What happens to the app after I cancel?
Your subscription stays active through the end of the billing cycle. After that, the desktop app's runtime check fails and the live data stops. The .exe itself stays on your machine — you just can't use it without an active subscription.
Data, privacy & security
Does NovaQuant store my trading data?
The desktop app stores trading-adjacent data locally on your machine (paper-trade ledger, signal history, settings, watchlist). That data never leaves your computer. We do not collect, transmit, or analyze your trading activity. See Privacy Policy.
What about exchange API keys / webhooks I configure?
Anything you paste into NovaQuant — Discord webhook URLs, Telegram bot tokens, third-party webhooks — is stored locally on your machine in the app's settings file. The desktop app uses them to talk directly to those services. Nothing is routed through us.
Is the .exe signed?
Not currently. Code-signing certificates are expensive for an indie project. Windows may show an "unverified publisher" warning the first time you run the file — choose More info > Run anyway only after confirming you received the file directly from us by email.
Still stuck?
Email novaquantlabs@gmail.com with a screenshot of the issue, the exact step where it happened, and any error message. We'll usually reply within a business day.
