Refunds & cancellation
Short version: cancel anytime — your access stays active through the end of the billing cycle, and we don't charge you again. Refunds for a billed cycle are handled case-by-case.
How to cancel
Pick whichever path is easiest:
If you paid with Stripe
- Find your most recent Stripe receipt email (sender is Stripe; subject usually starts with "Your receipt from").
- Click the self-service portal link inside. The Stripe customer portal opens.
- Click Cancel subscription.
If you paid with PayPal
- Open your PayPal automatic payments dashboard.
- Find the NovaQuant recurring payment.
- Click Cancel to stop future charges.
Either way, billing stops at the next renewal. Your NovaQuant license remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which it expires and the desktop app prompts for re-activation.
Can't find the receipt or the portal link doesn't load? Email novaquantlabs@gmail.com and we'll cancel from our side — usually within one business day.
What happens after cancellation
- You keep access to NovaQuant through the end of the current billing cycle.
- No further charges are made.
- After the cycle ends, the desktop app's runtime check fails, the activation files are purged, and notifications stop firing.
- Your machine code and license history are kept on file in case you decide to subscribe again — we can re-issue your activation pair quickly.
Refunds
NovaQuant is a digital subscription delivered as soon as the activation email pair is sent. By policy:
- Pro-rated refunds are not provided for partially-used billing cycles.
- Refund of the most recent charge is considered case-by-case for situations like duplicate billing, billing while you were unable to use the product, or a serious bug that broke core functionality for you. Email us within 14 days of the charge with details and we'll review.
- Older charges are generally not refundable. If your bank reports a compromised card or genuine fraud, contact your bank — they have the proper dispute process.
We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind after the activation pair has been delivered, but you can always cancel to prevent the next charge.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we can usually resolve issues directly and far faster. Chargebacks for legitimate subscription charges may result in your license being terminated and your email being blocked from future subscriptions.
Re-subscribing
If you cancel and then change your mind, you can subscribe again from the pricing page. Email us with your old purchase email (or the same one you used before) and we'll re-issue your activation pair without making you re-do the machine-code dance.
